When you submit our Buyer’s List or Seller forms, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email address, and, if you are a seller, details about the property such as its address, type, size, condition, asking price, and your situation. If you are a buyer, we also collect your target area, price range, how you plan to buy, and what you are looking for.

If you reach this site from an ad on ByteSize Network, we may also note which ad brought you (see Cookies below).

Information From Public Records and Other Sources

To find properties we may want to buy, we also use public records, such as county assessor, collector and tax-sale records, trustee-sale notices and building permits, which can include an owner’s name and mailing address. We use this only to evaluate properties for JL Group. We do not sell it, and we do not call or text anyone from these records unless they have given us permission. You can ask us to stop using your information or never to contact you at the addresses below.

We also record when you submitted the form, the text of the consent you agreed to, and technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which we use to prevent spam and keep a record of your consent.

How We Use Your Information

We use it to respond to the inquiry you made: to match buyers with properties, to follow up on a seller’s request for an offer, and to keep basic records of that contact. We only contact you about what you asked about.

Calls and Text Messages

If you check the consent box on a form, you agree that JL Group may contact you by phone, text message, or email at the number and address you provided, including by automated technology, about your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or sale. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us at any time using the contact details below.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers that help us run this site and respond to inquiries (for example hosting, communications, and records tools) under a duty to keep it confidential, with professionals we work with on a transaction you asked us about, or when required by law.

How Long We Keep It

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, keep transaction and consent records, and meet legal obligations.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time, by emailing [email protected] or calling 573-731-2987. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we will honor valid requests.

Our Links

Links JL Group posts on social media, in emails and in QR codes may start with go.jlgroup.online. When you tap one, we record the tap and then send you on to the page. We record the time, which link, the site or app it came from, your browser and device type, and an approximate city worked out from your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself. Obvious bots are left out of our counts. We add tags to the page address (for example utm_source=facebook) so we can see which posts bring visitors to us. We also set one cookie, bsn_vid, on jlgroup.online. It is a random code that tells a new visitor from a returning one. It contains no name or email and lasts no longer than 13 months. We keep tap records for up to 25 months, use them only to run and improve JL Group, and never sell them.

Cookies

This site uses only the minimal cookies needed for it to work, plus two first-party cookies: bsn_vid (see Our Links above) and bsn_click, set for 30 days when you arrive from an ad on ByteSize Network, so we can tell which ad brought an inquiry. It is not shared and does not identify you by name. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
